DOTA 2
DOTA 2 is sequel of DotA costum map for Warcraft 3. DOTA 2 was one of the most popular MOBA games for 11 years. First version of DOTA 2 was released in 2011 and Valve provided first tournament called "The International", DOTA 2 players usually call it just "TI". After 2 years it was transferred from Source engine to Source 2, and it was renamed by Valve to "DOTA 2: Reborn". This transfer got big updates in graphics and game mechanics.
DOTA 2 is most paid esports game, back in 2011 the first The International had prize pool 1 million dollars, nowadays in 2021 the last TI had prize pool 40,018,195 $. Also there are tournaments by other organizations like ESL ONE, WePlay and etc. Usually, their tournament has prize pool from 3 million dollars to 5 million dollars.

Gameplay
The main object in DOTA 2 is to destroy enemy's Ancient (Throne). There are 5 types of roles in game: Midlane, Safelane, Offlane, Support and Hard Support. When the game was created there were no roles, time by time DOTA 2 community made themselves roles to play better, it was like unwritten rules. In 2019 roles were added to game, and players could choose their roles before searching the game, also there is matchmaking type without role choosing.
In mid game team which has more advantage tries to fight enemy team and get kills, after try to destroy enemy towers. The weaker team tries to evade fights and get their farm, usually they have heroes which are weaker in early game and stronger at late game.
In late game stronger team tries to kill Roshan. Roshan is a powerful creature, which drops "Aegis of Immortal" by death and team who kills Roshan earns gold and experience. After killing Roshan they head to enemy base and try to end the game, by fighting enemy team and destroying enemy's Ancient.
