Heroes in DOTA 2

Heroes

            In DOTA 2 characters are called "Heroes". There are 122 unique heroes in the game, and there are 3 main categories: Strength, Agility and Intelligence. Also, there many subcategories: Nuker, Carry, Support, Escape, Jungle, Disabler, Durable, Pusher and Initiator.

            We will discuss 2 heroes: Axe and Lina.

Axe (chibi style art)

        Axe is funny hero with cool replics, easy to learn and good offlaner. The hero has qualities like: disabler, durable and initiator, also this hero is good for farming jungle creeps.

        Axe has 4 skills: "Berserker's Call", "Battle Hunger", "Counter Helix" and Ultimate skill "Culling Blade".

        Berserker's Call, this skill taunts nearby enemies to attack axe for some time, while enemies are taunted Axe gains bonus armor. By using this skill Axe disable heroes and initiates fight.

        Battle Hunger is unit target skill, that means you have to point on enemy object and use it to it. Battle hunger slows down enemies' move speed and does DPS (damage per second), also while enemies are under effect of this skill Axe gains bonus move speed. This skill helps you to chase enemies.

        Counter Helix, this skill is passive type. Passive skills are not triggered by player, but works automatically. Counter Helix has some chance to do damage to nearby enemies of Axe, when Axe is attacked. This skill is well combined with his first skill Berserker's Call, while enemies taunted to Axe, he does damage to all of them, also he can farm creeps easily and fast.

        Culling Blade is Ultimate Skill. Ultimate skills can be chosen only on 6th, 12th and 18th levels of hero. Culling Blade is also unit target spell, can be used on enemies to kill them. This skill momentally kills enemies of their HP (hit point) is lower than 250/350/450 depended on the level of the spell.

        Gameplay on Axe. Axe is very durable hero and has good initiation skill. Usually he start fight or counter attacks enemies by taunting them.

Lina (Chibi style Art)

        Lina is very strong midlaner can win midlane against almost any other hero, or can be picked as support. She has qualities like: nuker, disabler, carry and also support. Her skills are "Dragon Slave", "Light Strike Arrays", "Fiery Soul" and Ultimate Skill "Laguna Blade".

        Dragon Slave is point target spell, point target spells require player to target on area, also you can target on unit. Deals damage on the way to target on area.

        Light Strike Array is also point target spell, stuns enemies in area of spell. Stun is debuff which doesn't allow players to move, attack or use active spells, literally turns of enemy heroes.

        Fiery Soul is a passive skill which grants you bonus attack and move speed for each stack up to 3. Stacks are gained by using active spells for some time, using spell again refreshes timer of end of the stacks.

        Laguna Blade is a ultimate spell, which is unit target type. Spell deals damage to the target enemy unit, very good nuke spell.

        Gameplay on Lina is very interesting. Lina has a lot of damage, but easy to kill. It's very important to take good position before the fight begins. Usually Lina targets enemy carry and starts the fight by using her 2nd spell following 1st and ultimate. After that with 3 stacks of her passive skill start to attack very fast.
